THE EXPERIMENTAL USE OF G-CSF IN IMMUNOBIOTHERAPY
Cop-2006_1
Immuno-biotherapy, a specific branch of homeopathy, is making great strides – today’s basic research enables any new immune discoveries to be scientifically adapted. In this context, G-CSF is part of the renowned family of stimulation factors used in anti-tumoral polychemotherapies. A specific cell known as TLymphocyte is the main culprit in damage to the immune system, deficiencies or autoimmune diseases. Therapeutic solutions therefore involve regularizing this cell’s production and functions. In order to encourage the regulation of the synthesis processes and activity of these lymphocytes, we need to go back to the origin of their manufacture – namely, the pluripotent mother cell that, via differentiation, gives rise to lymphoid precursors, and subsequently to B-, T- and NK-Lymphocytes.
HOMEOMESOTHERAPY FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT IN PRIMARY CHRONIC COXARTHROSIS WITH A HOMEOPATHIC INJECTABLE FORMULATION
Cop-2006_1
Coxarthrosis is the localization of chronic degenerative arthropathy of the hip joint. It is a frequent, severe and disabling disease (1-4) with causes that are both anatomical (special conditions of Circulatory System) and mechanical (joint of major movement and which may also be affected by development anomalies). – Primary coxarthrosis can only be caused by dysmetabolic conditions of the joint cartilage; other disorders including functional overload [e.g. obesity (5)], static consequences of cavus foot, e.g. genum valgum

FUNCTIONAL AND IATROGENIC SECONDARY CORTICOHYPOTHALAMIC AMENORRHEA IN P.N.E.I. DYNAMICS
Cop-2006_1
The term secondary amenorrhea means that menstruation does not occur for more than three cycles, after a period of regular menstruation. Until very recently, corticohypothalamic amenorrhea was only diagnosed after eliminating other diagnostic possibilities, but recent PNEI findings, particularly advances made in Neuroendocrinology, allow us to make a more satisfactory diagnosis. With hypothalamic disorder there is a deficiency in the secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which is necessary for the pulsatile secretion of gonadotropins (1). In men, the pulsatile secretion of GnRH – a synthesised decapeptidic structure in the mediobasal nuclei of the anterior hypothalamus, transported into the portal hypophysary system – is responsible for maintaining gonadotropin pulsatile secretion.
POLYGLUCOSAMINE – ACTION ON OXIDISED LIPIDS AND DYSLIPIDEMIAS
Cop-2006_1
The use of chitosan for reducing cholesterol and triglyceride levels and for controlling body weight has been the subject of criticism, as there have been inconsistencies in the way the results have been reported in the medical literature. Some authors reported positive results with various amounts (1-9), while some provided evidence of significant activity (10-15), and others also observed limited results with men (16). We often refer to pathologies or risk situations such as obesity or various types of dyslipidemia. Attempts to carry out a meta-analysis on some of these studies have shown that chitosan is more active than placebo; however, this activity needs to be confirmed by more rigorous studies (17) and by using a large number of patients.
TREATMENT OF ALLERGIC MANIFESTATIONS WITH TRANSFER FACTOR (TF)
Cop-2006_1
Atopy is a disease characterised by a genetic disorder that manifests itself via the increased capacity of the B lymphocytes in the production of IgE antibodies against some ubiquitous antigens (allergens) that can trigger an immune response after inhalation, ingestion or penetration of the skin. CD4+ lymphocytes play a very important part in causing the production of IgE by the B lymphocytes as this only occurs if interleukin-4 (IL-4), produced by the Thelper 2 cell, is secreted [the latter can be inhibited by Interferon-gamma (IFNgamma) produced by the T-helper 1 cells (1, 2)]. Specific IgEs are pathogenetically involved in diseases associated with atopy and in particular allergic asthma, as well as all types of rhinitis and allergic dermatitis. One hypothesis that could explain the excessive production of allergen-specific IgEs would be a regulation defect …
THE MATRIX TETRAMETRIC CODE: HORMONES, CYTOKINES, NEUROPEPTIDES, MELATONIN
Cop-2006_1
The clock of Physiological Regulation is calibrated according to a never-ending series of metabolic stimuli, its unbroken trend being ensured by changing schemes and adaptation responses determining the continuity and the discontinuity of physiological processes. The activity of metalloproteases is calibrated in the matrix using the latent forms of proenzyme and/or the action of endogenous inhibitors (TIMPs) through hormone, cytokine, neuropeptide and melatonin-mediated modulation (HCNM). – Matrix remodelling and inhibition are processes contributing to metabolism: a peculiar characteristic of the first process is the plasticity and dynamism of response to internal and external changes; while the inhibition process is characterized by a special harmony between the elements of which it is composed.
